Hartford, CT – Dog Star Rescue invites the community to kick off summer at its highly anticipated Pups & Pours Block Party, a lively fundraising event bringing together dog lovers, local adult beverages, live music, puppies and more – all in support of saving rescue dogs’ lives.
Taking place at Trinity Health Stadium (Hartford Athletic Stadium) in Hartford on Saturday, June 6, 2026 from 4-8pm, this popular annual event is expected to draw more than 500 attendees for an unforgettable afternoon of fun and philanthropy. Tickets for adults are just $40 and for kids are just $10.
Guests will enjoy unlimited sample pours from over 20 local breweries, wineries, and distilleries, along with a souvenir tasting glass to take home. The event will also feature live music performances from Bright Line and Rescue Dogs Band, food trucks, local vendors, raffles, and the crowd-favorite Puppy Cuddling Booth, where attendees can spend time with adorable rescue puppies for a small additional donation. Kids are also welcome this year and can enjoy a special kid zone with ice cream, shaved ice, face painting and more.
Come meet Renee DiNino from WFSB and Damon Scott of Country 92.5. This casual event is a can’t miss event of the summer. All proceeds from the Pups & Pours Block Party directly support Dog Star Rescue’s mission. Well behaved dogs are welcome to attend as well.
“Pups & Pours is more than just a great party – it’s a way to have an immediate impact on rescue dogs’ lives while having fun” said Michelle Brown, Communications Director for Dog Star Rescue. “Every ticket purchased helps us continue rescuing and placing dogs into loving, forever homes.”
As Connecticut’s largest all-volunteer dog rescue, Dog Star Rescue has placed more than 8,000 dogs into forever homes since its founding. Events like Pups & Pours play a critical role in funding these life-saving efforts.
Tickets are available for purchase at DogStarRescue.org/pupspours, and sponsorship opportunities are available for businesses looking to align with a positive, community-driven cause. Attendees must be 21+ to participate in alcohol sampling.
