Fashion, Brunch, and Rescue Dogs Take Center Stage at Farmington Polo Club
Farmington, CT – Feb. 17, 2025 – Dog Star Rescue is set to host Rescue on the Runway, a fashionable and fun-filled fundraising event, on Sunday, April 27, 2025, from 11 AM to 2 PM at the Farmington Polo Club in Farmington, CT. This event will bring together animal lovers for a morning of brunch buffet, style, and adoptable dogs – all to support this all-volunteer, non-profit dog rescue.
Hosted by Renee DiNino from WFSB, this exciting event will support local boutiques and feature sounds by DJ Sunny. Guests will enjoy a delicious brunch buffet, including eggs, bacon, waffles, pasta, ham, and of course mimosas. The highlight of the day will be a runway show showcasing the latest fashion trends for both humans and their canine companions from local boutiques. Attendees can also participate in raffles with prizes valued at over $75 and meet adoptable rescue dogs, offering a chance to help these pups find their forever homes.
Dog Star Rescue has saved and rehomed over 7,000 dogs since its founding in 2014. All proceeds from Rescue on the Runway will directly support the organization’s mission of rescuing homeless, abandoned and owner-surrender dogs and placing them in loving homes.
