2025 Eversource Hartford Marathon

Run for Team Dog Star on October 11 at Bushnell Park in Hartford

Dog Star Rescue is a GOLD CHARITY of the 2025 Eversource Hartford Marathon. We are honored and excited to be a part of this very exciting event. Every mile you run helps us save and care for very reserving rescue dogs in CT and beyond our borders. Whether you run the 5K, half marathon, or full marathon, you’ll be joining a community of runners who believe every pup deserves a chance.

What runners on Team Dog Star will receive

Access to our private team tent — drop your gear, rest up, and enjoy a porta-potty that’s all yours. Think of us as your doggie dugout.
Private bib pickup — skip the traffic, parking and crowds at the Expo Center and get your own private bib pickup as a perk of being on our team. Of course if you prefer you can still pay $20 for bib mailing through the Hartford Marathon Foundation when signing up.
Race to fundraise — Become a top fundraiser and you could win prizes donated by our amazing sponsors. Don’t worry though, we’ll also have a raffle with more prizes at the post-race party. Plus, ALL Dog Star team members receive 10% off any goods and services at Woof Gang Bakery in West Hartford or Canton.
Post-Race Celebration with Team Dog Star — Meet your fellow runners, toast your finish, and share some belly rubs with our furry VIPs the day after the marathon. Full details will be shared soon.

Sign up for our VIRTUAL 5K on Sunday, October 12 at 9 AM at Riverfront Park in Glastonbury
Or, complete a 5K anytime October 11–12.
