You can meet most of our adoptable dogs at our weekly adoption events. We always have a Saturday adoption event and some weeks have events on other days too. Please apply before you come to an event.
Other events
Team Dog Star Dog Walking Club (Sundays): Meet fellow alum and dog lovers and walk your dog with us every other Sunday (once a month in summer). Our next walk is Oct. 4 at Hop River Trail in Manchester at 9 AM. Visit this link to sign up.

Dog Friendly 5K + Microchipping/Vaccine Clinic (Sunday October 11, 2026): Bring your dog and come walk a 5K with us at Trinity Health Stadium in Hartford. We’ll have so many vendors, plus a rabies and microchipping clinic brought to you by Madison Veterinary Hospital! Sign up for the rabies & microchip clinic here.
