Position Overview
Dog Star Rescue receives generous donations from a wide range of sources including individuals,
companies, grants, and other supporters. Contributions come in through various methods such as
checks, electronic transfers, Venmo, adoptions, ACH, and more.
We are seeking a detail-oriented, tech-savvy individual to help us accurately track these donations. This
role involves:
- researching incoming donations
- identifying the donor when needed, and
- entering the information into our donor database.
Accuracy and confidentiality are key, and experience with spreadsheets, online platforms, or donor databases is a plus. Your support in this role will directly contribute to helping us save more dogs and connect them with loving homes.
Duties
- Enter all donations into our rescue software
- Review 3rd party sites for electronic information of donors
- Run reports to identify our top donors
- Coordinate with the Thank you team!
Skills Required
- Tech Savvy – comfortable to learn a new database system with training & guide books
- Detailed & accurate with numbers, names and email addresses
- Out-of-the-box thinking to research websites & databases to find the true donor
- Self-Motivated with time available to update on a weekly basis
Time Commitment Per Week
- 1 hour per week (REMOTE)
